Starter Pack - Trilingual Word Cards

Our word cards cover everything from A to Z, 0 to 20, and all the colours of the rainbow. Plus, we've even thrown in the days of the week (Te reo Māori translation is based on the Gregorian calendar), because who doesn't love a good calendar reminder? A total of 65 cards + 1 note card. There are also some animals, food and objects on the alphabet and colour cards to help tamariki associate the colour or letter with something.

On one side, there's a NZSL illustration for the english word, letter and number. On the other side is the translation in te reo māori. For instance, the number 1 card shows the NZSL sign for one, the numeral 1 and "one" in English, and the opposite side has "tahi" in te reo māori plus a phonetic to break down the pronunciation.

These word cards are not your average flimsy paper cards. Oh no, we've gone all out and made them bright, thick, and durable. They can handle all the wear and tear that comes with little hands and big imaginations.

And if that's not enough, we've made them large too! That's right, no squinting or straining your eyes to read the tiny print. With these cards, the words practically jump out at you!

But wait, there's more! Our set includes a convenient box to keep them all together, so you can easily store them when not in use. No more losing cards under the couch or in the laundry pile.

The intention behind creating the starter pack was to provide only the fundamental basic components of language learning for tamariki. Our aim is to supplement this pack with more products soon including more words and phrases that will complement the words already learnt in the starter park. Quick tip: Keep our flashcard box out of direct sunlight to prevent fading. Think of them like vampires - they don't do well in the sun. Your cards will stay vibrant and bold if you store them carefully. No need to hide them away, just be mindful of where you keep them.
